I wouldn't trust adapters.
The only real safe way to do it would be a full lug conversion.

Besides, the tC OEM rims aren't that great anyway. I'm sure you can find something better that will fit safely.

It would look ok but def. not worth the trouble or expense.

 

The only way i Know to do this is to actually change to a 5 lug toyota corolla or early gen celica hub, lugs, brakes. ect. Lots of money to do with out a donor car...

 

i was going to do this but , Change my mind i know there is few 1st gen xB rolling on this set up rolling on other 5x100 wheels ...but was not to sure after all on this idea!! so NOW IM rolling on 4x100 18x7.5 Sacchiwheels S45/245 black wheels with chrome accent screws chrome center cap lugnuts are under cap looks really good with my black box I LOVE IT ...I need to take some pics now...
