Default springs and wheels

I put on my 17x7, with 205/40/ 17 tires, and the offset is 40. and i am having problems with it. it rubs when i drive it and make U turns. what can i do to fix that? and do you think it will be possible if i still drop it 1.75' front and back with no rubbing? or do you guys suggest any springs?

Don't make any u turns

You can put some spacers on the front. I doubt your rubbing the fenders with that offset and tire.

Your rubbing at stock height? Im lowered over 3 inches with a 215/40/17 with no issues at all

Way too much info missing from the puzzle to give any answers.
If you truely have 205/40/17s at stock heights with 17X7 wheels with 40mm offset you should be nowhere near rubbing anything. Makes no sense. Even dropped 2-3" you should not rub either.
Also, those little 205/40s are prolly not weight rated to be safely used on an xB. You should have at a minimum 215/40 instead.
