I am going to be getting some winter tires for my Scion tC, and I am thinking about going down a size or two on my wheel size (either 15" or 16").

Has anyone had any experience with a smaller rim size on the tC, or do you have any recommendations for me? What Winter tire do you recommend?

 

To keep it "cheap", 15" wheels with all-season tires!
I prefer Blizzak tires for winter driving...

 

I've had great luck with Blizzaks, as have a number of friends with Subarus.

 

X2 plus you will get a very comfy ride. I think you can use Matrix steelies for a direct swap.

That's all I got.

 

Some 15's clear tC brakes and some don't. I know 16's will clear with no issues and you can run a 205/55R16.

 

^^yeah, i thin few 15's work for the tC, but 16's work well with the tC, they look odd, but they work.

I know that the 15"s from a Vibe and Matrix fit. Not sure about the 15s from a Corolla tho.
