So I just threw some dropzone springs onto the tC. They were 1.5" in both the front and back, but it seems like the back is lower than the front just a little bit. After the install, the guy said that the springs need to settle in, and it'll drop about another 0.25" in the front.....is that true?

I don't see a need to let the springs "settle" but then again I've never lowered a car...someone let me know!

 

That's true new springs need to settle for a couple weeks then get your alignment checked. GL

Correction: front was 1.9" and back was 1.8" I had these springs sitting for a loonnggg time....no cash for install!! =P

oh well....you're opinions are worth the same as others........but this is also a good example of what happens in a 7:30am Physiology Lab Lecture.....

springs will not settle till they are installed and under load for a while. sitting on a shelf wont do it
