Hi, I was wondering if any knew how a red Carbon fiber hood would look and i SW tc? Can you post pics? by the way my theme is red and white. thanks

stick with the black CF hood. theres a guy on here who has a white CF but im not too fond of it.

however, it's your car so do what you feel looks best :]

lol. thanks for the thoughts. idk i was just thinkikng it. the red carbon fiber hood i saw is too dark for my liking. just thought there be a brighter one.

as for the white carbon fiber on a SW thats pointless.

there actually is colored CF hoods & hatch and they dye the cf before clear coating it, i've seen a red on a BSP but i honestly didn't like it when i saw it. i've also seen a silver cf hood on a CSM and didn't like it either, also a blue hood & hatch on a AP and that one actually came out really nice because it both colors looked good together but if it was just the hood then it would of looked odd.

 

well black carbon fiber is good for almost anycolor, but seriously white on a SW? black is the original so it looks good.

if u wanna rock them, then go for it. that was all IMO

 

i seen a red kaminari cf hood.. it looked awesome!

 

oh BTW if you do get a colored cf hood or just a basic black cf hood then get it reclear coated because if you don't, then it will fade quicker and this way the clear coat will last longer and look like new if you take care of it by waxing it every weekend.

there is NO SUCH THING as colored CF. there is candied coated cf but there is no such thing as a colored cf weave. its not carbon. as for people saying whats the point if you have a white cf hood?

are you serious?!?!?! are you that big of a ricer that you buy a cf hood for looks?!?!?! hell that is the definition of ricer. RICE: race inspired cosmetic enhancement. hell any cf hood thats not painted is rice.
