Default Kaminari Reverse Cowl Hood

I searched about this hood and I couldn't quite find a good enough answer.
1) Where is the best place to order it from, I've looked at some sites, but I want to know the best, legit, place I can order it from.
2) I can't decide on fiberglass or carbon fiber, what do you all prefer.

Sorry if this has been posted a million times. I just want a straight up answer. Thank youuuuu

Yeah, I'm leaning more towards the carbon fiber one. Andddd one more question, on the Kaminari website everything is a lot cheaper, do they sell to individuals or no?

Call them up and they will either sell it directly to you or direct you to a retailer that will do it for those prices.

Get the CF it is beautiful and fits perfect. My wife loves hers, been on almost a year now and no fading, and only a couple of small rock trips from a road trip that I need to fill and buff out.

You can call them directly. I have ordered grills directly from Kaminari before.

I originally ordered mine thru showstoppers, but had a major issue with lack of communication between them, myself, and Kaminari. I got withe Geoff at NurSpec and he did an awesome job of getting the hood to me without any problems at all. Got a good price on it as well!

I would call Kaminari directly. I ordered through showstoppers. I didn't have any issues, but if you skip the middleman, why not!?

does anyone know if the fiberglass version can stand up to the cold and hot weather really good and if the latch is strong enough to hold the hood down without hoodpins? i know the carbon fiber one has a strong latch but eventually over time those things get loose and what not. just making sure. i plan on painting the hood.

thought the CF and glass hoods where the same build but the CF had the CF skin over the glass,so far nearly two years with my CF and no hood issues with no pins.
