Default Fog Lights

I had a few questions on fog lights...I have an '08 Flint Mica tC with a 10000k HID kit and I was thinking about getting VRD's...
I read that putting HID's in them look bad because they are reflector housing?
What color/type of bulbs should I put in to match well with my HID kit and car color? Possibly yellow? I like some pictures of Nokya or whatever bulbs but I'm not sure which ones to get..Any advice or tips?
Thanks
Also do I have to cut the lip or anything or are the VRD's easy to install? Does it come with a button and instructions on how to wire it to the inside of my car?

Are these the same fog lights as VRD's?

If you have HID's, i'm guessing the white lights would better match your car, but I'm not too sure. If your tC have the OEM lip kit on it, then you need to cut into the front lip to fit these lights. If you don't have any lip kits, then no cutting is required. Installation isn't too hard. To make things simple you can choose to take off the bumper, but its not necessary according to some. Those APT fogs are the same as the VRD ones. The kit is plug and play, no realy wire work to do except for hooking it up to your car. I don't think instructions will come with it, or at least mine didn't, lol. You can find a thread on the basics of installing fog lights on SL.

i havent seen any post on cutting the OEM front lip for these fogs to fit correctly? i think you need to cut as you go, i cant give you any pointers on that part.

as for lighting, id say stick with stock bulbs. to me 10k HIDs (which is deep blue, ugly and pointless) and yellow fogs wont mix when i see it comming in front of me? i know the yellow is functional because its better to see in fog but i dont recommend getting HIDs in your fogs. this is just me, if you want yellow in your fogs i think a nice combo would be 5-6k (nice bright white/hint of blue) HIDs in your lowbeams and yellow bulbs for fogs? thats just me.
