Default passenger headlamp issues

yesterday i decided to buy new bulbs bc the old parking light and side marker light on the passenger and driver headlamp were out. I went ahead and swapped and only the driver side parking light and side light work the passenger does not. I checked the fuses and they looked good. But I will check them carefully to see if there is a minor crack.

I also did a retro fit and i have cleaned the socket that runs the wires to both bulbs. Nothing unusual about the socket.

if anyone can help it would be a great help

I've had this happen to me twice (once for each side)

The problem is probably caused by a crappy little crimp connection Toyota put into our harnesses.

There's a 'Y' on the harness of the headlight, cut off the rubber tubing covering the wires between the 'city light' and the side marker, in there you should see a rusty little green crimp. Cut there, resolder and you should be good.
