Default Need help installing amp!

Last night I picked up a little system off craigslist. A 10 inch kicker sub, sealed box, alpine v12 amp @ 250 wat. Now I just need to know how to install it lol... How do I remove the stock head unit? I need access to the premium units RCA and remote hookupz... And also, how do I get power to the trunk? Any tips or tricks? Thanks!

To remove the radio make sure your fingers are "sticky" and make sure the radio trim is cleaned of dust. Then imagine the vents around radio are 2 boobies and grab on to them hard and pull the trim off... or you can use a flat head screw driver and lightly pry it off from the bottom.

Then you will need a 10mm socket wrench with atleast 3" extension to remove the 4 bolts. Then the radio will come out easy. On back of the radio connect the RCA to the ones labled W.

LoL, great tips! My girlfriend liked the grab and yank method ;)

But now... I couldnt get the amp working simply because my remote connection wasnt working... Which wire do i have to tap into behind the dash to get it working?

its gonna be a gray wire in the main harness going into the HU. what are you using to "tap" into the 12V Switched wire? I would always recommend sauder and obviously electrical tape not "T-taps"
