I think the 1st thing EVERY xB owner should do, is lower it! Totally changes the look of it...

 

To hell with the look, it's the feel I cared about ! Perhaps it's just me, but I don't like it when the car keeps leaning all over the place -- I went directly to sway bar and then springs.

 

Hehe. I dunno about lowering, but wheels are a def must. I have some black spokes Ill prob go with.

 

Congrats on the new ride! I have a friend who just got the same Blackberry '09 xB last week. In my humble opinion I would rather have a lowered car with stock rims than nice rims and stock suspension. Rims and no drop just don't look right to me. You don't have to go too low, just enough to get rid of the 'donkey' look of the stock suspension. Some people try to use taller wheels/tires to fill the fenders a little better and that looks hurts my eyes too. Good luck with whatever you decide to do. Hang out here long enough and your car will be completely transformed in the near future. These cars are begging to be modified.

 

I like the way this car looks stock height, but then I've already been in this discussion many times.

Congrats! Welcome to the family! Tint was my first change, too. It made a big difference in the summer.

 

I honestly prefer the stock height. Tint, nice black wheels, and then a spoiler is my route.
