I heard that there is a New Car Tax credit in the new stimules Bill.....You get credit for all Tax on a new car purchase ???

The last I heard is that you will get credit for any sales tax you paid on a new car after Obama signed the bill. It was going to be retroactive back to Nov 08, but the repugnicans cut that out.

Buggers... I bought mine at the end of January 09 and the bill was signed in February. This is going to be tax credit on the federal form for state sales tax paid, so the state or city still gets the tax money.

RockBlocker is correct, not a credit but a deduction on the front page from income. My tax credit statement is wrong.

 

Just bought mine two weeks ago, need to check into this.
