Default Limited Edition 1 of 1 '08 "ARS" xB

I got this idea from the RS5 with the color matching on the interior "silver" panels.
I'm calling it the "ARS" (Andrew's Release Series)

ALL door handles..

most of them were a piece of cake. just "POPS" right off. the Passenger side vent was a B!TCH to remove. I had to bend the dash up (whit the battery disconnected) and use a "stubby" screwdriver to remove the 3 screws holding it in. I considered removing the entire dash, but there is 1 bolt that was hard for me to reach, AFTER I got everything put back together I found out how to get the stubborn bolt out.

I got the material from Schucks Auto parts. it is a CF sticker. I traced out the patern and CAREFULLY put it in place.

I am in the process of color matching my interior pieces as well. It is disapointing that the RS 6 did not come color coordinated as the RS 5 did.

So far I have only completed one of the back door handle as a test to see if I would actually like it.

How was getting the plastic pieces off of the steering wheel?

OK. this one had me a little baffled. on either side, behind the wheel you will find 2 holes. in these holes are bolts with a "star" allen head. I couldn't believe I had the right size, but I did. I will look for it and post the size for you. Once these are removed the horn housing comes right off. (MAKE SURE YOU DISCONNECT THE BATTERY FIRST)
then there are 2 screws, one for each piece, holding the plastic in place.

Once I figured out how to get them off it was easy. the passenger side vent was the worst.

As most of you can see, there are quite a few white specs on most of the pieces.. it's not in the paint. it's dust. I cleaned it off, but the camera flash picked up what I didn't see. Also the pic of the rear hatch emblem... it had just rained, so there was a little water....

HUH? do you mean the color of the pedals don't match the other red on the car?
it's what I found here at a local speed shop.. have you found any "RED" ones that would match better? let me know...
