Default Getting rdy to buy coils, but which ?

Hey guys I need some input here. I'm in Canada and I gotta research everythig on my own as there's no scions sold here, when I roll in my XB ppl look at my car like a UFO

Anyway this year I wanna finally move my ___ and get my ride looking good, I'm pretty set on 18s TRD, they just look right to me on TCM. But I need some good coils, somethign that will go low, I mean as low as I can go on 18s that I won't rub on turns.

What are good solid coils ? I mean I'm spending over $1k on coils so few hundred one way or another for solid company isn't such a big choice, I just don't know what's good. K-sport seem very popular but there's god and negative comments, Tein I have no clue how are their products nowadays. And what about STDs, I only see one main post about them on every forum, not much info on em ? Is there anything else that's solid ?

Here's few pics I found on the net on what I have in my mind (sorry if I posted your ride and u don't want it there, just pm me)

A little lower than this if possible to drive

Now this is what I want, nice and low, is this drivable ?

If you got any of the big name brands you'd probably be good, it's a preference thing, people like what THEY have! I personally like the STD, that's what i'm gonna go with when I do it. And to drive that low, fenders would need rolling and probably some camber too. and watch out for speedbumps and midgets.

Yeah, it's awsome drivin Xb here, ppl never seen a car like that before, i get tons of ppl everyday pointing out my car as I drive along. It's funny that I get more atttention drivin my affordable car then those ppl driving really expensive car, love the feeling

Anyway who would I hit up for STDs ? They seem to have the lowest drop ?

air bag it...
best of both worlds...
go low, tuck your tires, and have the option to raise it up on the fly when you encounter speed bumps, midgets, and bad road conditions...

Get the KW Variant 2. European shock/coilover companies are hands down way better than any American or Japanese shock/coilover company.

I think we had this conversation... but yeah, Europeans know suspension I would go with any Euro suspension company over any JDM company. Not because of bragging rights, rarity, or cool factor but simply because Eoropean cars handle very well in stock trim so the bar is set high for the aftermarket companies over there. Amerian and Japanese companies aren't at that level yet.

Now I am stoked! I didn't realize you were on Progress. I just bought a set from a guy for a good deal, but wasn't sure how much drop i could expect.

I've been rolling on the Tein SS-P coilovers for about 20,000 miles now on crappy bumpy roads and they are still holding up strong, i had them completely slammed when i was running 19's, no fender rolling, no rubbing.

Rollin'

Sittin' Still
