Default Tein S-techs shot after 15000 miles?

I did some searching but not sure that I came up with a definite answer so...
About 15000 miles ago I installed S-Tech springs and it seems like the last 3000 miles or so the quality of my ride is absolutely horrible.
I know that the xB ride has never been the best, but it is getting to the point that even when going over the slightest bump or crack in the road my passengers are complaining how rough the ride is.
From your experiences, do you think that my springs are most likely the cause of this or could it be something else?

I have the Monroes w/ S-Techs, they help, but wish I would've gotten the Konis. Wheel tire setup also roughens things.

What would you guys think about just putting the factory springs back on? Should that help until I can get the money to throw some different springs back on?

your shock will allways were out befor your srings will.
i would replace the shocks and struts first because the most likly need replaceing anyway, and "THEN" if you still hae the problem go with new spring.
i can almost promis you its your shocks and struts.

keep us posted as to what you do and what happens so others will know

Most makers will say at 50,000 miles they should be replaced for best ride quality but that will be dependent on how and where you drive, loads carried, wheel and tire selection, ride height...etc. I agree with all the others that if they were installed correctly it sounds like struts/shocks. Btw I have never had an issue with my s-techs.

Stock shock/struts life expectancy is shortened when lowering springs are intalled. Your S-techs are not worn out,

x3 Tein is a quality spring. I can't believe they went bad. Change shocks and struts and you will be fine.

I'm not saying the OEM shocks are any good, because they are crap. But S-Tech's aren't any good either. I bought them and used them for 100K and I regret ever getting them, the only reason why they're still on my car is because im too lazy to swap back to the OEM springs, and I'm still researching my options on a good coilover set up.

what was your bad encounter.

the only problem ive with tein spring is the back ones tend to be a bit soft.
180 pound springs are too soft it realy need to be more like between 215 and 240.
i had the s-techs then when to ss coilovers and ended up using a custom 220 spring in the rear.
i understand why they do that, i just didn't work for what i wanted to do
other then that, Tein is high quality stuff
