Neither.
Springs do not control bounce in any way.
Shocks and struts control bounce.
Either one of those with poor shocks will bounce like my van in H.S.
Either one with really stiff shocks and you wont even notice you have springs.

i know that the shocks are the ones that control the motion of the springs. sorry for not been clear. i want to know with the stock shocks because im a poor college guy thats on a tight budget.

Thats a bit different, I would assume that the spring with the strongest rate would be more likely to "Bounce".
But even then Unless the stock springs are totally shot you shouldn't have any.

actually the stronger rate would incur a stiffer ride, a harsher "bounce". when i think of the term bounce I think of a car going up and down several times. This would denote a softer spring.
