Just had these installed and now I find the adjustment tool won't go low enough to turn - its head gets blocked by the frame. Anyone experience this and have a fix? Get out the freaking dremel tool or what?

You really don't have to push it in all the way to adjust the dampening. You could just cut the dampening tool so that it fits.

 

Also, you can get yourself a cheap set of Hex Wrenches. Thats what I did and it works great.

 

Thanks guys! I think the hex wrenches will be the solution (or cutting the tool) I'll check home depot tomorrow for a long one.
