Sounds like a bad caliper.

 

Any vibration like within the wheels?

My brakes started to do that and it got worst. Sure enough, my wheel bearings went bad. Still haven't gotten them fixed.

 

This sometimes happens to me when I come to a Complete Stop.
The Wheel will kind of jerk to the Left or Right, but I just figured its cause I usually stop on uneven road or something..
Mind you, my cars only got 10k Miles on it.. so if somethings wrong with it, I'LL KILL 'EM!

 

maybe you've got some air in your brake fluid?

 

My guess is a leaking brake cylinder, or some other issue with your brakes. It's more than annoying. It's a safety issue.

 

i say have it towed to a mechanic and have them check it out... better to spend a little now than $$$ later

 

yeah, i would have a professional check it out. it could be jerking to one side when you stop right now and not stopping at all when you hit the brakes tomorrow and that wouldnt be good
