Im doing the front brakes on my XA and there is a 20mm-22mm bolt holding the rotor on. Most jobs in the past the rotor would just slip over it. And after searching it doesnt seem that many have encountered this bolt.

 

OK, I found a link with a diy write up and pics for the XA rotors and it shows the rotor coming off over the bolt. If this is true i dont know what is holding my rotor on. Ive tried tapping it with a hammer and didnt budge.

 

After you remove the caliper, hake a decent hammer and hit the rotor hat like a man, don't just tap it. Give it a good whack!

 

soak with some pb blaster, try not to get it all over the rotor, then take wire brush and clean all the crud off where the rotor will slide off then soak again with pb blaster
