Default Anyone Polish their stock rims

Wondering if anyone has polished the stock rims. they appear to be aluminum and I ahve polished MC rims before, these look to be pretty easy to do.
I would like the shine, and I could spend the time to polish.
any ideas?

Are we talking the hubcaps or wheels. I have painted my hubcaps white, and then polished. Geting polish from all the hiding places in the black wheels would be very very time consuming. Have fun with it, it is your to do as you please. Uniquely yours.

I picked up the stock aluminum 7 spokers direct from Scion. Don't know exactly what to call them, but they cost like 650 bucks for the set with the lower profile tires than the hub cap rims have on them.
Wish I was computer savvy and I would post a pic, check out the scion home page and under exterior accesories the 7 spoke alloy wheel.

Help me!!!!!!!!

Polished aluminum requires a lot of care to keep them looking good. It's a better option than chrome, IMHO, because chrome will eventually chip, flake, get the "shadows" in the nooks and crannies, etc. I'm kinda liking my baby moon full wheel covers on the stock steel wheels. With wheel covers, it's a snap to change the looks of the wheels. I'm thinking of getting some of those salt-flat style full wheel covers, but that can wait...

polished aluminum is crappy takes too much time to clean, not worth it. Go chrome! in fact the scion alloy wheels suck soo much, I am selling them tomorrow since I already got some enki ones for the xb.
