Default Stiffer rear shocks

Ok heres the deal, I am dropped on Tein SS-P coilovers, well shortly after the install I hit a large bump and blew both of the Tein rear shocks. I then put the stock rear shocks on there and they did alright for a little while but it looks like they are blown as well.

I want a set of shocks that are a little stiffer than stock, something that while pulling out of the driveway at an angle i will 3 wheel lol. I basically want to know what you are running and how much you like them.

Koni Yellow Sports. Adjustable stiffies. When soft, it's a little stiffer than stock. Rock out with the stock out on hard, yeah... you might 3 wheel, doubt it though.

Seriously though... I love my Konis. If you don't have one already, look for a whiteline rear sway bar as well to stiffen it up a little more and remove sway. The rear Konis are a little higher than your average Monroe though.

You could always go with the Tokico Blues... cheaper version of the very same TRD shocks. They are stiffer than stock, only issue you might have is how low you can go on the coilovers. Me personally, I found the TRD shocks to be a little rough.

The Koni yellows are waaaayyyyy better than most coilover shocks on the market. I have them and I love them. I three wheel on hard corners with Koni yellows (set to full stiff), Energy Bushings, Progress RSB, S-techs (now with TRD springs). The ride is comfortable but very planted on corners.

So would you say that stiffer is better overall?

I was planning on having my Konis in the front set softer.

I'm not sure what setting the rear is on.

Overall, it depends greatly what tires you are running and other suspension mods imho. When I'm rolling on my stockies over the winter, the front is full stiff and the rear is medium. When I'm on the 18s with 35 series side walls, medium front and medium back is stiff enough. It's all about preference of how you want the ride to roll with Konis though.
