More Weight in Back - Stiffer?
Ok, so I tend to drive everywhere and usually have the XB packed full with 6 people and 2 10's in the back. So its pretty weighed down, I tend to bottom out the hitch and blind everyone with my HID projectors because the back weighs down so much. I'm new to modifying cars so I was looking for suggestions on how to keep the back shocks stiffer so my HIDS don't point towards the sky when I have a full car. Thank you.
do you have stock or aftermarket springs?
I have sprint sport mach springs, which lower my box about 2". When I'm hauling heavier stuff I swap the stock springs in at the back (it takes about 10 min). That way the back starts off higher and once loaded it ends up level.

Adjustable shocks probably won't help much. They dampen the suspension but don't support it.
If you are running stock suspension I would suggest getting a set of these Air Helper Springs. They fit inside the stock coil springs and add up to 1000lbs of additional load capacity. They use air pressure to support the load. These are *not* the air bags guys use on here to lower their xBs, they are just to help support the suspension.
With just that kit you need to use an external air compressor or the air pumps at gas stations to fill the bags. You can add a wired or wireless controller and compressor to adjust the system on the fly.
The really nice things about these systems is that once you get a feel for how much air you need for how much load you will compromise little to no ride comfort. As they supplement the stock spring & shock instead of replacing one or the other.

This.
I'm actually considering helper-bags right now (along with fender-rolling), especially since I haul stuff in my box fairly regularly. Needless to say, it wasn't pretty helping my sister move this weekend, since the two vehicles used were my box and my dad's Colorado. My tires are not happy.
On a related note, when I was in college, I had a horrible GMC Sonoma (aka the Beemobile, aka the Slownoma), and the air shocks I had on the rear were fantastic. Since I was in college, people that I didn't even like would ask me to help them move, so it was nice to be able to keep my truck riding and handling properly when hauling furniture and whatnot. I am coming around to the same opinion of the xB, even though my friends are far less nomadic these days.
Don't overload your xB with 6 people in it, It was meant to only carry 5 people total. What you're doing is foolish, dangerous and illegal.
The Koni's are an awsome shock but even that won't help with it bottoming out, the shocks only dampen the suspension, the springs are what keep the suspension/chassis from bottoming out.

Either way, car pooling is good but can only go so far!
