Default aftermarket struts?

is there any other strut out there for our scions other than the TRD's? has anyone heard anything about any that are in-the-making?

im really hoping eibach is going to develop struts to go with the springs they've made.

i believe only spy and trd only make struts. most people will agree that you should keep the stock struts until they need to be replaced. tokico should also have something out sooner or later.

i agree, also. i heard that if the spring and the strut are not designed to work together or doesn't match in characteristics, it can negative affect the handling of the car.

how will i kno when it's time to replace the struts?

I will just wait till there is a strut that is made with dampening changing like Koni till I get lowering springs I think...just work on all the other things for the suspension and bracing....I cant believe how many things are out there just for bracing.....if I were to put all the things on the xB that is out...it would be one solid car

Interestingly enough, a tech guy from Toyota mentioned to me that he was changing out the TRD struts in his xB for the stock ones because he felt they were valved a little bit better for use with lowering springs and sporty driving. And this coming from a guy who builds and races open-wheel race cars... I trust his opinion.
