Changing wheel hub and bearing...
I need to change out my hub and bearing on the driver side. I took off the wheel and rotor, but am having a difficult time getting the "teethed" center section off that allows you to get to the bearing itself. I have the proper sized socket for it, but I cant seem to get the sections that are clamped to pop up.
Has anyone changed these yourself? If so, any tips? I cant seem to find an exploded view of the hub and bearing for the XA.
Any help is greatly appreciated.

Thanks a bunch. Im mechanically inclined and like to work on my own cars, but I also think this would be best for the dealer to take care of.
I appreciate the help.
I appreciate the help.
Take it to a shop.
You'll need to pull off the entire steering knuckle to remove a snap ring on the inside, have the bearing pressed into the knuckle while having the bearing pressed onto the front hub.
It is a royal PITA.
To pull the hub use a slide hammer mounted on your lug studs.
Repeat , just take it to a shop. I just did mine and without the proper tools (slide hammer, hydrolic press , ball joint tools , snap ring pliers, BF breaker bar for 159 ft lbs axel nut wrench. ect, ect, ect)

it took me less than 10 minutes.
i have a shop lift, so that made it easier.
even with a jack under, i can see it taking the same amount of time
EDIT: i replaced the rear, not the front. i wasnt paying attention before posting sry
the rear is four bolts, i have not replaced the front so disregard my post

Ok, that totally makes a difference then. lol... I still appreciate the info. The front is completely different from the rear when it comes to the hub. Like you said, its easy.
