Default Auto to manual swap - complete.

I am selling a complete swap for the auto peeps on here who would like to switch over to a manual gearbox. The only thing I may not be able to include are the pedal assemblies because they appear to be bent.

You get:

-Complete tranny with all sensors, brackets, shift linkages, etc.
-Flywheel
-Clutch fork
-master and slave clutch cylinders + all necessary lines
-shifter cables
-shifter base with shifter
-ECM

I am not sure if any of the transmission mounts are different, but I can throw them in if necessary. All you will need is a clutch kit (I can give you the used clutch for the cost of shipping, but why would you want it?), shiftboot, shiftknob, and brake and clutch pedals.

If there is anything I missed, I can throw that in as well. You will probably need the fluid res. for it as too. I am pretty sure you should be able to reuse you engine harness and speedo.

Looking to get $1k + shipping.

I could. I've never done it on a TC, but I have on a Celica. They are similar enough. What I would need from you would be the $$, the missing/additional necessary parts, and about a week with the car to get it done. It won't take me a week to do it, but I may not have a complete day or two that it will take all at once.

If you are seriously interested, shoot me a PM and we can discuss price and logistics.

I will need to do a bit of research on here to be sure I have a complete parts list before beginning anything.

Do you have the manual wiring harness? if so what year? if its 2005 2006 PLEASE PM ME PRICE!!!!! I call dibs

The Transmission mounts are completely different from the Auto, Do you have the manual transmission mounts?

Also what about the Driver side Cv Axle?

Are you pulling off all these parts from a manual tC or you already have the parts? if you have all the parts why does it seem your knowledge on all the parts seem a little slim? i ask because people keep getting sham lately.

It's not from an 05 or an 06, the car is a 2007. What do you mean my knowledge seems a little slim? Compared to what? The general populace? Does the average person you run into know exactly which parts differ on an auto Scion TC versus a manual one? I don't think anyone who hasn't researched it would know every part that would need to be replaced.

Anyone who is interested in doing business with me is welcome to ask for references which I will gladly provide. As for the source, I have the entire car at my disposal, so anything that is needed for the swap that I may have missed can be provided. If it's something small at no extra cost, if it's something major I will give an excellent deal on it as a part of the package deal. I would like to sell everything needed for the swap as a set first, and if that does not work out, I will consider splitting the pieces.

It was just a question. A lot of people have been getting shafted on the classified lately only reason why i ask.

If no one buys it as a set i'd be interested in buying the transmission mounts front and back also the CV Axles.

I'll keep your offer in mind. I would like to sell it as an entire swap, I will give it a bit more time before splitting everything.

From doing some research it looks like you will need the axle and both the front and rear tranny mounts as well. I will throw them in for a mere $100 more. You won't find a better deal for those parts.

It also appears that it may be easier if you have the manual engine harness, I can throw that in for $100 with the swap. Now if I split the package up, those are nowhere near the prices I would charge for those parts, I will ask quite a bit more piece by piece. I would just rather sell this as one complete swap.

Well there's your answer, apparently the harness is different on the 2007. I wouldn't know personally.

People have done it im pretty sure. The only thing is you have to be careful becasue it will be possible to start it without pushing in the clutch while in gear becasue of the nss. I think this has been done quite a few times. Thats also if i use the auto ecu also

If i get the harness wont i have to get a manual ecu. Also will it even work if i just stick an ecu in and go. I just figured it would be easier to use my current ecu?

BUMP FOR THE SALE

This conversation is not like a air filter where you drop it in and go. There is a few things you have to do. From what I'm seeing you have done poor research on this mod kanepatterson. This is like turboing your car do a lot of research before you start buying parts.

Here is a lot of useful information you can gain
https://www.scionlife.com/forums/scion-tc-1g-drivetrain-power-1637/auto-manual-transmission-swap-parts-list-91629/

To answer your question yes you can use the Auto harness but you have to bypass a few things. Im not to sure but you also have to bypass the wires for the fans. With the Auto ECU yeah you can use it but you also have to trick the immobilizer.

Best is to just get yourself the harness and ECU for your engine. Only hard part is finding the parts.
