Default FS 2005 xA 1.5L Engine CORE $100 - Boston, MA

I have a 2005 xA 1.5L motor for sale.
It is available for pick up in Boston, MA. First $100 takes it.
CORE, REBUILD, PART OUT, OR SCRAP ONLY!

Spun bearings (Rod? Crank?) at about 133,000 miles in late August of 2010 due to low oil pressure. Assuming due to oil consumption, blow by, ETC...

SHOULD be rebuildable, definately good for spare parts, port/polish the cylinder head, bore it, stroke it, experiment how much boost and N2O it will take before exploding into aluminum shrapnel, bring it to the scrap yard and cash it in, use it as a boat anchor, turn it into a conversation piece coffee table for your Mantown...

The possibilities are ENDLESS!!!!

Reply here, send PM, or call me at 617-335-6745

****SOME OF THE PARTS ARE NOT INCLUDED AS I NEEDED TO REUSE THEM FOR THE YARIS MOTOR SWAP TO KEEP MY CAR RUNNING****
(Off the top of my head: Oil Pan, Intake manifold, exhaust manifold, crank pulley, all accessories, lots of sensors...)

Pictures coming soon.

Umm.. if it's a spun main than the journal on the block is probably chewed up, and may not be rebuildable on the bottom end. If it's only a rod bearing, new crank and rod and you're good to go.

When you say core, that usually means short block only, and even then only the cylinder housing, rod, piston and crank (no crank case or oil pan). Pics would really help, sounds like youre talking a complete engine (non-running) minus the oil pan.

Hurry w/ the pics, guessing you didn't pop it open to see the journals though.
