From the setups that Ive seen underneatht the car they usually use a 3 gallon or two 2 gallon tanks. The 2 gallon setups require you to remove the emissions box and relocate it or chuck it all together. If you leave it out you will have to take your car to the dealer to have it reprogrammed for no emissions or it will shut down. If you live in a state with emissions testing this will not help you.

Eric M. had a 5 gallon tank under his car but it did scrape sometimes. I dont remember what brand it was.

In my car I have the 5 gallon Airlift tank sitting vertically in the trunk to keep it out of the elements. I did this because the xB doesnt have much of a trunk to begin with and losing the right side where the "cooler" thing is didnt matter to me.

For me,the compressor(2 of them) will be under the car. The 5 gallon tank will get mounted (suspended) across the cargo area.

I have two compressors mounted outside and my tank is in my back seat (seat removed) so I can run 7 gallons of air. I'll try to post some pics, but I'm having computer issues, so it may take a while.

you can even run 3 2 gallon tanks side by side under the rear hatch area i believe.

you could always cut out the spare tire well and smooth the floor back out to give you more room underneath....
