i'm pretty sure its the wheel bearing but it sounds like a nice rattling sound only does it at around 35-70 mph

and don't have the time atm to check it out until the weekend...

and how hard/easy is it to replace the bearing... or does it need to be pressed in?

 

got rid of that annoying rattle that was plaguing my left front wheel well... = a pebble, and 7 year build up of crud via the holes in the cowl for the wiper blades... :-\

 

hey glad you figured it out. got a random, weird, unrelated question for you. how do you like your yokohama's? i got them they were on the car when i got them. it seems like they've really dry rotted, but got plenty of tread, and i've rotated them. don't know how old they are never realized until after i had sold it. haven't had any problems with them though. i've ran over glass, and nails, and never had any issues, or needed to plug them like the good year viva's i've had on other vehicles which seemed to be needed to plug every couple months.

 

they do the job... quiet tires... handles well for they are

 

haha i said never realized it until after i sold it. i meant never realized until after i bought it! haha. never realized to asked, but the tread is good, and i keep them rotated. i don't think they're the smoothest tires, but definitely not as cheap as the price tag. they're dry rotted, but they have good tread, and i'm not getting rid of them until i start having problems with them. not gonna waste them. i'm getting my money out of them or the last person who bought them's money! with inflation tires will be ridiculous when i have to buy them next. they're the cheapest brand tires, but for $20 cheaper a tire i sure haven't had any problems with low pressure or leaks, or had to even fill it up once in 12k miles which isn't a lot, but i've had good years with leaks at 6k miles!
