I realize springs have a tendency to creak...Do coil overs do the same?If not im switching and selling some 2 day old H-Techs!!

 

Lettem settle or something. Mine sure as hell dont creak. Id be scared if they did. Wait for them to settle and get adjusted on your car a little. Dont ditchem after so short of time. Also talk to Tein because I dont think they should creak at all

 

my tein's and goldline's made a creak when i would get in and out

 

my friends trd springs does that too and it just started to creak everytime he goes on rough roads or pot holes. It didnt creak on rough roads before but always when u get in or out of his car. Anyone know wat could be wrong?

the rear of coilover setus are somewhate prone to creak. comes with teh territory . to me creaking isnt so bad if the stance is right.

 

My stock springs creak when I get in and out of the car... No joke.

Sometimes creaking is caused by bad strut bearings. Something to check into maybe.

 

My springs don't make a sound. Make sure you have that plastic wrap around your springs (some springs don't come with them, you may have to take them off of the stock springs). If they still creak, try wrapping about 12" of each end with a rubber or leather strap.

 

I've done two goldlines and two h-techs and none have creaked. Maybe your assembly isn't right, or like j-so said.. that piece up top that moves might be bound up?
