Will my new 5zigen rims at 18x8.5 with an offset 48 fit on my tC without needing me to bend the fenders and have no rubbing issues?

Well, the offset on the rim is 48 so are you telling me it's not going to fit?

 

your stock rim is a 17x7 with a +45 offset, everyone says you need to be in the +35 to +45 offset range for the rim to fit. With an 18x8.5 on a +48 i'd definately say its not going to fit. Luckly you can just get a spacer to push it out farther.

 

so i wouldn't have to roll my fender or anything?

 

you might still have to do that but im pretty sure it would depend on the tire size you get. Correct me if I'm wrong anyone but im pretty sure i've heard of 225/40/18 tires working fine on the tC.

 

How would 235/40/18 work?

the stock offset works bc the wheel is not theat wide, however, your 8.5s will cause you issues with the inner fender lining, and possibly the brake calipers, 35 is what you want, if you already payed for them and theres nothing you can do, getr some 15mil spacers that are hubcentric, and you should be fine
