Tire Pressure?
Greetings,
Time to install the new wheels and tires that just arrived for my xA. One question: Since I'm going from 15" to 17" wheels, and the tire size is changing, will I have to change the pressure from the stock 29psi?
Related question: What is the recommended pressure on the xA RS 1.0? They come stock with 17s, so shouldn't the placard on the driver's door jamb have the pressure listed that compensates for the vehicle's weight?

This is a good question. The car door badge will show the recommended tire pressure, but that's for the stock tires. If you change tire size and type, you can't really go by that anymore. My new Falken Ziex ZE-512's on my xA are a 16" and are really different than the stock tires. I have them at 40 psi and they run very smooth. I tried then at a lower pressure, but they felt soft and sloppy. I'm still under the max for the tire, but it feels pretty good.
