hello all, i painted my rims on my fm tc. i used spray paint and used rust o leum paint a hammered black... paint was made for rims and metal. what do you guys think. any questions just say i will try to resond in quick manner. click on image to see it larger.

i mean, it doesnt look that bad... but I would think powercoding them would make it look better if you do wanna just paint stock rims. Also, now that you've spray painted the rims.. why not do the lugs too because it looks weird with the lugs not painted. nice DIY though

 

i like but powdercoating is best. but i dont know if you could do that scheme with powdercoating

was it hard to tape them like that and how long did the whole proccess take?

 

it wasnt hard but took forever like 2 days for 2 rims.

 

yo that looks hott...i been wanting to do sumthin like that for a while on my tC...can you explain the whole process in detail so i can paint minez too.

 

oh yeah by the way how much did it cost and also if one were to powdercoat the rims, how much would that cost? thanks party ppl.

 

it all cost me 40 dollars if you powder coat its 40-50 per wheel but you cant to silver lip you have to do all

 

man that sux...the silver lip looks hott and at $40 it seems like a real good deal....do you know how long it will last??

Hmm................. where's the close ups. of the rim. And how r the holding up.

Please post a close up of just the rim paint, cause there are grooves in the rims and did you paint along them or just straight
