well wnet for it heated my tein s springs today tuned out nice tucked the 19s and still rides very nice ill check back in a week let you known how there holding up

good luck
heating springs is the secong worst thing you can do to them
right after cutting them
i don't know if you have ever heard of "tempering" steel
that is exactly what you have destroyed by heating your springs

i feel sorry for your Scion.......

Most springs are about $160. Why not just save up a few bucks??

Any pics of what you did exactly?

cutting is alot better than heating , heating causes undue stress.


hmm the worse part about heating is making sure the ride height is level side to side.

ok they are tein s springs and i did not like the gap between my 19s i own civics i've done this to and it tunned out bad but i've learn form my mistakes and i did i have done a bunch of things your not suppose to do to cars anyways heat the lower part of the spring where there vrey little gap so when the springs calaps it can only drop so far then work up from there donot heat in the middle now thats very bad also these are not stock springs but they might have the same results and it still rides nice im not telling anyone to do this im just letting you know it did not turn out badalso have a fab kit for sale used it for 2 weeks ill get pics soon anyways not trying to start a fight im just giving out info and its working
