Default Any experience with Yokohama's

I'm looking for new tires for my new 14" rims. The Yokohama Avids look nice at a good price. Any thoughts.

the avid touring are a good tire but it really depends on what u r looking for! if u go with a h4 or a h4s ur going to get better handling with the tire in rain and sunny days. they r kind of sticky but there r stickier tires out there. ( spelled wrong) i used to work for wheel works and just tires and from both stores the avid were # 1 sellers. the are a good price for what they are. i am not sure if they make a esta in 14's but ther are also a good tire. and they are kinda cheap but then different ppl think cheap is different. let me know what u get.

Depends what you are looking for. I got 215-40-17 Yoko Avid H4S's from www.tirerack.com. They are a good all-season performance touring tire with a high treadwear rating. The "H" speed rating is more than adequate for a Scion xB and the 500 treadwear rating means that they should last more than 10-15k miles. Good choice IMHO.
