Depending on the springs you go with the ride will be better. I'm guessing you are asking about a alignment. I got one after I switched to Tein H-Techs just to make sure everything was still right.

Anything more than 1.5'' it would be a good idea to have your alignment checked. As far as a better ride goes, it depends on if you want better as in smoother, or better as in handling. The lower you go, generally speaking the "rougher" it will be.
However, IMO the best performance spring out there for us right now is the Tanabe DF210s...
If you want a more comfortable ride, i'd recommend Tein H-Techs.

Agreed.
I like the STechs, the ride can get a bit bouncy on some of those gaps on the freeway but great ride and great looks =)
