rota wheels
ok so im looking for some light weight wheels and i found a couple that like now im just trying to figure out what would be lighter the 17" 17lbs http://www.seriousauto.com/rota_wheels/action/index.htm
with stock size tires or
the 12.bs 15" http://www.seriousauto.com/rota_whee...zero/index.htm
im only going to use these when i race but im trying to see witch will be lighter once you get a tire filled with air on them im thinking the 17 might be lighter becosue its alot less rubber and air added on to the weight of the rime but any help would be great also if anyone knows any reason why i shouldnt get rota wheels let me know i dont realy know mutch about this company

I think I remember reading somewhere that 15" and 17" tires have pretty similar weights because of the xtra stiffening needed for a lower profile sidewall on a 17. So you'd def have an advantage with rotational mass on 15's (maybe not an aesthetic advantage however...)
If you look on Ebay you'll find better prices and more styles for Rota's... pesonally I prefer the ones with a polished lip (like the Track R and GT3...)
