Does anyone know if 18X7 rims with a offset of 40 will fit on an XB without using spacers. I'm sure there would be no problem on the front, but I'm not sure about the rear.

Also what size spacers are needed to bring the wheel out flush.

You should be fine. If you want the rear wheels to be flush, then the OTG rear shims are the ones to get.

I'm running 7.5" wide with a +45 offset, the OTG shims are just enough to miss the arm in the back. so you shoud be good.

FYI, we carry wheels with those specifications and no spacers are required, however, it's always best to double check with the wheels manufacturer to be sure!

with a 18x7 +40 to get it flush you would need at least a 20mm spacer, maybe even 25mm. I know a 18x8 +20 fits in the front and a 18x9 +20 fits in the rear. But that is super flush. I would run a 20mm up front and 25mm in the rear. It should be pretty flush with that.

8" wide and +25 offset = flush in the rear

7" wide and +25 offset = flush in the front

thats what work wheels usa told me. like thses guys said, your wheels will fit but they will be sunken in. OTG shims are the way to go.
