Default Replacements for the rear bumper lights

This is an e-mail corespondence i had with helix:

We will definitely consider it. I'll pass it on to the r&d guys.

The Clear/Red Tails and the dual proj. headlights are coming back in,
ETA is a couple of weeks =)!

Your company currently produces replacements for Scion xB headlights,
taillights, and side markers, but there are no replacement products
for the small lights on the side of the rear bumper. Do you have
plans to produce a part to replace that unit?
As of now there is far more demand (in my experience) for that than
there is for side markers, and no one makes one.

Thanks,
W. D.
If anyone has any interest in replacing the ugly, red, rear bumber lights please shoot them an email and tell them, if enough interest is shown maybe we'll get something out of it.

if you dont care, or think this is stupid, please dont post.

I'm sure there are a lot of guys who are too straight and narrow to do anything but direct replacement OEM looking bolt-ons (and nothing wrong with that) ... but that lens is not that terribly hard to just simply replace with a subsitute from another model.

yeah we could use the accord lights or the sentra lights, but it would be nice to have options, Helix has the clear smoked side markers, it might look nice to have something clear back there not reflective, or even smoked but still reflective.
I understand your point windowtint, but if i'm gonna spend $25 on two little pieces of plastic, they should be a perfect fit, and this company seems to be receptive at the moment.
so if theres interest in this product let em know, if theres not i'll buy the altima lights.

i know it's a bit of money but any light at all back there is just hideous. ruins the clean lines of the car.

I agree 100% but Red lights on a Green car is 505 times worse than a clear, smoked, or white. for now I'd rather spend 15-30 bucks on a nicer part... made for the car

you havent seen too many boxes then. lol. j/k but seriously. if you get an aftermarket body kit most of the time they do not have the cutout. or can easily be filled for a few mere dollars when getting the kit painted and installed. if you have a camo box i'd remove the lights and then use smoke spray on them !!!! it'll look awesome.

i think i like my rear bumper lenses the way they look now. it's pretty much floating my boat and it's something different. BTW, that TCM box only have the front kit, no rear kit at all.
