Default who themselves installed hotchkis tuning front sway bars?

im so ____ed that i could not install it i could not bring the cradle down i took all my bolts out to do the job all i had to do was take out the cradle and take out the four bolts that hold the old sway bar on? i just wanted to know how u guys did it? i had to go to toyota/scion universe on 46 in new jersey to put it on cost me 127.50 i was so ____ed!

I did it just like the directions said but I have a lift. The only thing that got me was the new bushing mounts. I couldn't use the supplied bolts because the heads were to big and they wouldn't line up w/ the holes. But other than that it wasn't bad once i found some bolts that worked.

My husband did mine and all he had to do was grind some off the one bracket near the power steering rack and all the bolts lined up. He is a ase master tech so he has many years working on cars and a lift with every tool you can think of. He said the instructions with the kit are dead on and if followed a do it yourselfer can do this job. If you put the jack stands in the wrong place and not under the jack stand points it would prevent your subframe from dropping. That is the only thing I can tell you.

Make sure you get an alignment, we found my xb was out of specs from the start.

hey disneybb i didnt need the lecture i just asked and let me ask you u can put ur jackstands anywhere and the cradle will just come down? and two the directions are not dead on nor are the bolt sizes they called out cause i correctly remember they only call for 14 and 17 then why did i have to use a 12,14,17,19 mm wrenches i just asked how you guys pulled it down mine would not move i took out all recommended bolts and it would not come down for the love of god i stepped on it and hit it with hammer and nothing? i was asking cause it says carefully pull down lol carefully my butt but thanks for the answer it was appreciative!!1
