Th strut nut may be loose inside the top hat. Either that or the spring needs to be reseated.

No seriously, maybe something is rubbing the strut. Check for noticable rub marks on the springs, strut or wheels.

 

I have tein s-techs and mine clicks just about everytime I exit the car...think it is the same thing?

 

My right front started clunking a week after getting springs (Hotchkis) After the springs settle you may want to tighten the top mount . Your sound may not be this but I just wanted to warn you so your not on a road trip thinking your car is going to fall apart like I was.

 

Check to make sure the spring is seated properly or else it will cause noise.
