just put on the 25mm wheel spacers and they look sick and the ride feels better too. they are made by tc sportline, very light aluminum.

I have some made by fred groeske. awesome spacers. Makes the scion way better with those spacers on.

 

The only thing I dont like, is that it mounts by using your old studs. So in a sense, this part becomes unsprung weight + extra ratating mass. The idea of 25mm is nice though. A little crazy at the same time.

I rather get wheels with a better offset than those spacers. It just becomes another factor in getting into an accident.

 

getting into an accident how? only way would be if you don't know how to tighten lug nuts.

 

there is a big difference in handlingand from the back it looks sick nowthat everything is even, i have 18's on and there is even no need to roll the wheel well a little.

 

The idea is still crazy in my mind. 40mm-25mm=15mm of back spacing. I would hate to say it, but you would have some wheels sticking out of your fenders like mad. Unless your wheel came with like a +50mm back spacing. Im not a fan of the wheels that protrude out of the fenders look.

Whats the width on your 18" wheels? What was the factory listing for back spacing?

 

What type of spacers does everyone else have? just curious
