What would be the point of the extra long input tube?
Or is there two chambers in that one muffler and it's just
looping through?

Looks really well made either way!

I think it's supposed to cool the exhaust as it passes through the loop. I'm not %100 positive on that. Maybe I'll look it up and let you know.

So here's what they say about the twin loop exhaust:
Mugen "Twin Loop" silencer technology
loops maintains free flow yet cancels excess noise frequencies
straight configuration, low exhaust pressure
T304 stainless steel, 100% bolt on, 3.73" polished round tip
big gains in midrange torque and top end HP

I have that sitting in my closet waiting to go on my car. . Anyways, the loop is supposed to reduce noise. From the product description...

"This special Twin loop design allows the exhaust gases to pass through the muffler twice so that noise levels are also minimized twice. Therefore, no silencer is needed to reduce the noise level, and the muffler performance will NOT be affected."
