Default Xb Rear Toe Adjustment?

I just had a wheel alignment done and was told that my rear toe is out at .42 degrees on the right rear wheel and out .24 on the left rear wheel. They told me since the rear suspension is solid there is no adjustment? Is there any fix to this? Car is lowered one inch.

Default rear toe

I had the alignment checked on my RS 2.0 because it felt like the front end was wandering at interstate speeds. The right rear was out just a small amount, but enough that the service dept. could feel it. What ever they did corrected the problem. There was never any discussion that they could not adjust it.

No adjustments, but a few well known people were going to make toe adjsutment shims.

The only problem, the toe varied from car to car, from drop to drop, and from wheel to wheel.

In a vehicle with trailing links (or 'leading links') locating the axle, lowering or raising the static heights can convert some of the camber to toe... There's a somewhet longer discussion of this here in ScionLife, somewhere...

There's ALSO ample discussion here about the rear axle toe not being adjustable, complete with words and pictures direct from the Scion xB Repair Manuals...

Here is ONE of MANY found using SEARCH:

The toe is set at a specific setting at the OEM height and OEM spec tires/wheels.

By lowering the car, the toe will move accordingly along the swing of the axis of the drop, already designated by the design of the rear beam.

Camber and wheel offset will also effect the toe because of this.

Its an inherent problem with the rear beam axle design. I had the same problem on the Matrix.
