Just installed the GT Spec 4-point one-piece chassis brace. Here is the "before and after" pics. Initial ride impressions are the car doesn't seem as "bouncy" as before. Haven't had a chance to push it hard thru corners yet, but I'm hoping for some noticeable improvement there as well. Got mine thru "PartShippers.com"...

VERY easy to install. I used a lift at the auto hobby shop on base, and their tools as well. Remove the 4 bolts holding the stock braces, reinstall on the new brace, tighten, and you're done.

I ordered the part online from "Partshippers.com". I was looking thru some posts in "Corner Carvers", and saw some posts about this part and "Partshippers.com".

I'm in the California Air Nat'l Guard, doing a TDY to Joint Forces Command in Norfolk, VA. I used the auto hobby shop at the Navy base there, and it cost me all of $6 to have the car on a lift for 90 minutes, and the use of their tools. I have my own tools, but they're in storage, where I keep my HD Sportster. In looking at the hardware, regular handtools were all I needed.

 

Weekend Warrior j/k. Yeah that aint to bad. The auto hobby here says its like 6 a hour to use the lift or 9 to use a stall <not sure if thats a hour rate or just when ever you get done. When I get my scion, I will be in the auto hobby for a few hours. Got to put on wheels / rear shims / intake / exhaust / spoiler / strut bar / and a number of stickers

Took the wife and kids down to Corolla (Outer Banks in NC), and we walked up the stairs in the lighthouse. Also stopped at a couple of surf shops, and they got the requisite stickers, t-shirts, and other assorted souvenirs. The car seems to handle better, not as darty or bouncy as before. The rear sway bar seems to keep the rear wheels planted better, and combined with the front STB and front chassis brace, body roll isn't as much as it was before.

For less than $300 for the chassis brace and rear sway bar, it seems to have been a good investment so far.
