how hard is it to install coilovers?

Default how hard is it to install coilovers?

it seems like it isnt TOO hard, but maybe im giving myself more credit. how hard is it? i have places telling me that itll take like 3 hours and other places telling me itll cost like $200 to install. is that normal???

It's not that hard !bBut yeah it is time consuming thats why they are asking 2 bills mostly you are paying for labour.It would also help if you had a lift >

Bear in mind that at some places those are the same thing,

3hours = $200.

it's easier than springs. under an 1.5hr depending on how fast and handy you are.

it depends if you have pillowball mounts. if you got pillow ball mounts so much easier and faster. i can do them in 30min.-1hr at a decent pace.

if you can change springs you can change coilovers. theres an article in the tech section

Provided you have all the right tools and some mechanical skill. But it's very do-able in 45min-1.5hrs. I say for a newbie more like 3+ hrs. All you really need is some spring compressors and a set of metric tools. I have faith in you!!
