Default Any tips on DIY fender rolling?

I've read about using a wooden baseball bat to do it, but I'm not too keen on using that method, lol. I was looking at the Eastwood fender roller on Ebay. Those DIY'ers that have done this, what was your method and what did you use? Thank you

Not really a DIYer, I had a lot of help. I agree you should find a roller if at all possible. A roller has MUCH more control, and it's still a bit tricky. Then again, I've never tried the baseball bat method, so who knows?

Some stuff that might help prevent paint chips: Use a a razor to score the paint, so if the paint does chip, it will chip at the scored line. For more chip protection, cover the part that you will roll with tape

Oh and go slow. Also, roll the fender as flat as possible, so you won't have to do it again....

Hope that made sense...I'm a bit lightheaded on codeine

Thanks for the info man! Yea it made sense, lol

Believe it or not before I thought about getting a fender roller, I had this nutty idea to shave the inner lip with a dremel.
