Default what rims and tires are these???

as soon as i saw this pic i fell in love. i need to know what what wheels (size displacement everything exact to a T as well as witht the good years... thanx

Someone please give an accurate answer soon! I'm into this streched tyre look too. Its pretty popular with Euro cars like the Golf Mk1.

the rims are made by ATS, model name is "cup". Minsk99 on the boards has them on his xB.

Is Minsk99 running the 15in x 8 wheel on 195/50/15 tyres? Are tyres substantially more prone to bursting when they are stretched that much?

If you search, there are a few threads regarding tire stretching. As long as you don't stretch too far there shouldn't be any safety concerns.

if you're concerned with safety, here's another thing you can do:

once you pick your tire brand and size, go to www.tirerack.com. They have a "specs" page for all their tires that list what the safe rim width range is for each size of tire.
