The 2001 and up echo , xb and xa share the same brake pads... Mines a 2000 echo but I just upgraded to 2004 XA front calipers...

Be afraid of cross drilled rotors. Especially any you see on Ebay. They will crack on you. They will crack on you. They WILL crack on you. Get slotted and you will have nothing to worry about.

thats because the ones on ebay are drilled striaght thru ... Unlike the good quality rotors from EBC, Project Mu, and Endless arent... The are simply called dimpled. They are cross drilled but not all the way thru. When you drill a rotor striaght thru takes too much meat out of them... Fine and dandy when its on a race car because rotors get replaced after every race. NO good on a street driven vehicle.

EBC Greenstuff pads are great. I run them on my VR4 with good results. I'd say EBC pads and PowerSlot rotors, ATE Super Blue fluid and SS lines...

I like the PowerSlot slotted rotors... But like I said I dont like their cross drilled because they drill them striaght thru... I'll be using the YellowStuff brake pads and EBC Brake rotors thats Slotted and Dimpled ... And I already have ss brake lines and using nothing but Motul RBF 600 brake fluid... I buy and use nothing but Motul fluids on all my cars...
