Default R lowering springs tolerable enough for everday driving?

Hey you guys with lowering springs- Is the ride tolerable enough to live with or is your box jarring too.

I live in Wisconsin and the road has more pot holes than even ground. I am dieing to know if you guys with lowering springs think lowering springs are tolerable enough to live with every day. I drive back and forth every day at work and all over after work too. I had ordered some spring tech springs off ebay and put them on 2 weeks ago-they rode very -very harshly. They were jarring over every bump to the point where I cringed getting in the car.

Is it just the cheap springs i put on or is every lowering spring with a 2 inch drop jarring?

some springs are softer than others, but many believe that its the stock shocks/struts. get some konis or monroes and it will help a whole lot.

all the posts i've read on koni shocks and struts suggest you don't use these with lowering springs. I called koni and they said that a 2 inch drop would be pushing it.

Unfortunately the lower you go, the less travel your suspension has to soak up the bumps. Plus I would venture to say your 18" wheel and 35 series tire combo is more than likely the main culprit of your rough ride. I can tell you that Tein H Techs and Konis in the rear make for a very smooth ride even with 17's and 40 series tires. (On the stock 15s it is like butter)
