Default TRD springs and shocks, $818 installed good price?

Hi,

I am thinking of getting my xA with trd spring and shocks. The dealer gave me a price list for 818 for the set installed. Is that a good price? By the price list that is $300 for labor.

Thanks all

Installation charges depend on dealer. They vary widely!

Hey Shawn, does your dealership do sway bar installs? Just curious.

How are the Tein Coilovers anyway? I'm thinking about getting them but at the same time wondering if i'll have a harsher ride, or a stock ride.

We have an outside company ( East Coast Car Toys)that will install anything we throw at them. They just purchased two vehicles from us and are planning big mods on top of the AVXB they are putting 9 TVs in.

I still need to know if $300 is good for labor or not? I am looking at the trd springs because they only lower an inch. Most stuff I have seen the lowering is higher, I am thinking I only want a slight lowering like the trd will bring. Plus I could just get it all finiaced at the same time. Anything else I will have to save up for.

I got them, and I love them. The ride is smooth, and others who have ridden in my xB have stated that they want TEIN coilovers now too.

yeah, squirrel was in front of me a while ago and he took the on ramp of the freeway very well! I think he tried to lose me too, but I had the swaybars also and kept up with him in the turn!

Since you're in atlanta, why not order them, gather the local scion troops, and install them?

i dont think 300 dollars for labor is worth it. just go to any shop they could install it and charge half or even less. you dont have to go to the dealer.

*edit* for 300 bucks you could get another set of springs! haha
