Default JDM Side Sun Shades - Finally Installed.

Now that the weekend has come I had the chance to install my Toyota JDM Side Sun Shades. Being I have the CF pillars on my doors, I had to modify the sun shades by adding a 1/8" shim on back so that the shades can be applied directly to my doors. The shades are easily applied with double-sided foam tape and mounting brackets. In all, took me about an hour being I had to modify them somewhat.

Being I don't have a host for my pictures, just check out my profile.

Enjoy. :D

I took my time doing the turn signals and planned ahead. I asked a lot of questions before attemping to install these turn signals. Rather then going by the instructions, I tapped into the side turn signal. The hardest part was trying to figure out how to enter the cab from the fender. The first one took me sometime and then after that the second one was easy.

Due to the high cost of these items I have no plans to sell these items at this time. I do have new items to arrive from Japan in about a week or so and will be placing them on eBay. Currently in the works are some Fabulous Eye Lids but they'll need to be modified due to the Scion's head lamps.

Soon to arrive are bB Beach Towels, Hot Lava Models kits, xA 1/24 scale Diecast cars, Fabulous, Kenstyle and Garson decals to name a few. Watch my upcoming auctions on eBay.

Thanks,
Ron

Your best bet is to buy them from Carson Toyota. They have most of the JDM stuff. I can get them for you but it'll cost you more in the long run. Those shipping fee's from Japan can kill you!

Please Note: The turn signals covers I have are much different then the ones I have seen on other xB's. My turn signal lens goes the whole lenght of the mirror rather then just the end of the mirror. At night, these things are bright as Hell! Everyone moves out of my way!

That's a great price! In all, I paid about $240.00. With Carson you'll have to pay for tax and shipping but overall I thinks it's a great deal being the exchange rate has not been very good recently.

The JDM lip cost me only $25.00. I bought it on Yahoo Japan Auctions as it was used. Only problem was, being it was oversized I had to pay $250.00 to have it shipped to the US. The lip was shipped along with my JDM rear spoiler w/ third brake light which I hope to have installed soon after it's painted. Will keep everyone posted.

Those sun shades cost $210 dollars in Japan. With shipping they'll come out to a very expensive price.

I think I found some knock-offs. They cost $120 dollars. I have to get my japanese friend to talk to the seller and make sure they are made for the bB. I'll keep you guys posted.
